Chasing Masters

This exhibit of works by Dennison Griffith, the former president of the Columbus College of Art & Design, and Mark Bush, a CCAD alumnus, is inspired by The Great Masters. Bush, the 2016 Art for Life recipient of the Dennison Griffith Peer-to-Peer Artist Award, will exhibit with Griffith, his mentor and friend, in the artists’ first two-person show together. Included are Griffith’s rarely seen figurative work and early mixed-media interpretations of pages from art history texts. Also on display will be Bush’s new paintings that draw upon canonical works by Johannes Vermeer, Gustave Courbet, John Singer Sargent, and others.
