Still is Still Moving is Janice Lessman-Moss and Carol Stewart’s second two-person exhibition at Hammond Harkins Galleries. Lessman-Moss, Professor of Textile Arts at Kent State University and 2019 United States Artists Fellow, uses the latest technologies to create complex textiles of interlocking designs. Stewart, formerly of Columbus and currently living in St. Petersburg, Florida, is a master colorist known for contemporary still lifes. Recently, Stewart had work on view in the Butler Institute of American Art’s 85th National Midyear Show, and is now back in Ohio for her first major exhibit in Columbus since moving. Stop in to see her new paintings and the new designs of Lessman-Moss’ lenticular surfaces. These stunningly beautiful works are at once animated by light and endless discoveries.

Stop in and talk with the artists, who will be in the gallery Friday, October 15 from 5–8 and Sunday, October 17 from 1–3
