Veena Bansal
Bio
Veena Bansal, B.A., is a nationally recognized artist and recipient of several awards in central Ohio where she has been a resident for over 50 years. She has exhibited her artwork in different art galleries, including the Columbus Museum of Art, John Glenn International Airport and several restaurants and state art fairs. She has participated in fundraising for cancer research and in support of LGTBQ+ rights by donating her artwork to various institutions. Veena also does commissioned artwork specific to client's preferences and vision reflecting their taste and intentions. Her commissioned artwork can be done with various mediums and on different surfaces making it a versatile option for art enthusiasts looking for something distinctive.
She is the recipient of several awards, including the League of National Professional Women, Worthington Art League, and the Riffe Gallery. Veena immigrated to the United States in 1970 to join her husband who practices medicine in Columbus, Ohio. She is the proud mother of two accomplished daughters, a clinical psychologist and a medical doctor, and four grand kids. She enjoys art, music, world history, geography, politics and watching tennis and traveling globally!
